Over the last few weeks we have been looking at friendship.
This week Peter Kember shared with us how God wants to be our friend.
When we have this relationship with God it means that he can share with us what he is thinking , he wants us to be part of the things he is doing.
God has designed us all to be in relationship with others and have human friends, What are our friendships like?
The bible talks a lot about friends and what some of the characteristics of a friend should be.

Friends are an important part of our lives and we are designed to be in relationship with other people.
This Sunday Joyce Sibthorpe shared with us the importance of knowing Jesus as our friend, Part of us knowing him as our friend is being able to hear him talk to us.

This week John Williams was talking to us about our friendship with others and how at times these can be testing times.
John shared with us how we need to tap into God's resources and ask God to help us love our friends through the good and the bad.

This Sunday we were looking at our vision statement for this year which is we are on a journey with friends to freedom.
Daniel Sibthorpe unpacked a little of what this statement means and looked at some of the people in the bible and the journeys they went on.

As we come to the end of the year, we begin to look forward to what is going to take place in the coming months.
Charles Sibthorpe encouraged us that God has good things for us this year and that We can forget the bad that has happened in the past as God heals those wounds.
