  • The Power of the Cross

    7th April 2019

Trying to fit everything about Easter into one Sunday is just not going to work so this week Daniel speaks about the cross in this passionate message. God always has and always will view us and humanity through the lens of the cross, Ransomed, healed, restored,  forgiven. Then on Easter Sunday, we do part two with the resurrection.

  • River of God

    24th March 2019

This Sunday Daniel was sharing with us about the River of God and how we all may want to get in the river in different ways- Some might want to jump in while others might want to just dip their toes in. As we walk on our Journey with God this analogy is similar, We are all at different stages on our journey with God and that is fine.  We were encouraged to think about who we are turning around to help on their journey. So who can you help today and walk along with?

  • the power of love

    17th March 2019

What is our response to so much hate in the world? The Bible challenges us to love and Jesus says that as we do this his love will flow through us to provide all we need in life. As we chose to see the value in others and not their behaviour we start to see as God sees.

God has given us his words in the Bible for us to read and follow, Pete Worthington shares with us how there is the written word and the spoken word - both of which play an important part in our walk with God.  We need a relationship with God for these words to have an impact on our lives. Gods word is like a seed that is planted but is it planted in soil or among rocks and stones?  Find out more about God's word and how it can be part of your life.

  • Rooted like apples

    3rd March 2019

There are many varieties of apples for us to choose from and you may have your favourite type that you like to eat. when you look at an apple tree it is the root that you can't see under the ground that determines what the tree will produce.  Daniel shared with us how the tree needs to stay connected to the root for it to grow and flourish and that is the same for us. When we are connected to God then we will see Gods fruit in our lives.

Podcast Help

WHAT IS A PODCAST?

A podcast is a web feed of audio files placed on the internet for anyone to download or subscribe.

HOW DO I LISTEN TO ONE?

Like most podcasts, you can listen to each 'episode' by clicking individual links on our site. Or alternatively you can use specific podcasting software to make the process a little more automated, and keep up with latest episodes. Apple's iTunes has built-in support for podcasting. You can subscribe to podcasts in iTunes by entering the feed URL. Once subscribed, the podcast will be downloaded automatically. You can choose to update podcasts weekly, daily, hourly, or manually.

RSS

If you use Mozilla Firefox, Apple's Safari, or other browser that supports RSS (short for 'Really Simple Syndication'), your browser should automatically detect the feeds attached to our podcast pages, and you can use these to syndicate the podcasts into your browser. For example, clicking the orange icon in the address bar in Firefox will allow you to add a podcast feed to your Bookmarks toolbar.

We love Living Waters because...

I remember arriving at living waters over 13 years ago and on that day meeting a few of the people who are still my closest friends now. I had come from a lively, noisy church in London, so the style suited me straight away. But over time I have come to realise that the most important thing in church is not the style but the heart. I love that at the heart of Living Waters we want to connect on a deeper level with God and each other. This has been a real journey for me, learning how to be more vulnerable and trusting in relationships, but the reward has been some of the deepest and most enduring friendships I've had in my life! And we have a lot of fun, fun is very important!!
