Word of the Week  >  GIVE HIM AWAY

by Joyce Sibthorpe

You’ve got so much to give away!  Who me? Yes – YOU

Peter met a beggar and was asked for money – he didn’t have money, but he did have something better that ultimately would transform this man’s situation, so that money could be released through work, because healing had removed all his limitations.

You and I are containers of a priceless treasure named “Jesus”. He has answers for each situation you meet – wisdom, truth, healing, love, joy, peace, understanding, counsel and hope to name just a few.

You can’t give away what you don’t have, so you are required to be filled to overflowing with the Spirit of Jesus – ready for anything.

Check what you are giving away – it could be misery, criticism, negativity in many forms, or perhaps unbelief, doubt or fear. STOP! No one wants that junk, including you, and certainly not those who are looking to you for positive input.

Seek to always leave others better than you find them. If you can’t speak something positive then pray and ask Jesus to help them and give them what they need. As you do that you will find your own needs being met.  “Give and it will be given unto you” and “A man reaps what he sows” are spiritual laws, so check what you are giving and sowing. Jesus is what everyone needs – in Him are the resources to mend broken hearts and bodies.

Give Him away today and see Him change lives.
