Have you been watching the Healing Revival that is taking place in Lakeland Florida? It is on God Channel every night from 7 – 11pm. You can also watch it on your computer. God is using Todd Bentley in an amazing way.
What is your reaction as you hear from folk who have received remarkable miracles? I loved watching the young lad sprinting around the baseball triangle after he had been healed from a heart condition which should have left him breathless and exhausted.
However, it is very easy to be sceptical as you look and listen. Has he really been healed of asthma? Has her hearing really been restored? Is this real, or is it fake? This may shock you, or you may be able to identify with my reactions.
I read a verse in the Psalms this morning which I found very helpful. “Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.” Psalm 111:2-4
I have discovered that when I delight in the miracles, my doubts and scepticism are swept aside. I am totally confident that God is doing mighty things in Florida, but I am also certain that God is doing great things in other places around the world. Reports are coming in from Dudley in the Midlands in the UK. I heard of an amazing meeting that happened in the South East of England last Sunday morning.
But I also know that God is no respecter of persons and he wants to do mighty things for you. David the psalmist prayed this prayer, “O Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.” Psalm 30:2
Some people will fly to the states, some will drive hundreds of miles – but there will also be those who cry out to God where they are and will receive his Mighty Works.
Don’t be a sceptic – respond in faith and receive your miracle from our Mighty God.
