Catch of the Day! - Tuesday 17th June 2008
-

-
Don speaks on the passage when Jesus asks Peter to fish in the sea of Galilee in broad day light!
Don drew out that Peter had to deal with his past failures (they had no catch the night before!);
he had to deal with his human reasoning (the fish can see you as the water is clear - thats why you fish at night!)
and Peter had to commit to doing what Jesus said.
Peter was the fisherman, Jesus was a carpenter, however Peter did what Jesus said and pulled in many, many fish.God blesses us so much when we act on what He tells us to do. It may mean we have to forget our previous failures, it may not be 'common sense' and we will have to make a commitment but it is so worthwhile!
So listen and be blessed!

Podcast Help
What is a podcast? A podcast is a web feed of audio files placed on the internet for anyone to download or subscribe.
How do I listen to one? Like most podcasts, you can listen to each 'episode' by clicking individual links on our site. Or alternatively you can use specific podcasting software to make the process a little more automated, and keep up with latest episodes. Apple's iTunes has built-in support for podcasting. You can subscribe to podcasts in iTunes by entering the feed URL. Once subscribed, the podcast will be downloaded automatically. You can choose to update podcasts weekly, daily, hourly, or manually.
RSS If you use Mozilla Firefox, Apple's Safari, or other browser that supports RSS (short for 'Really Simple Syndication'), your browser should automatically detect the feeds attached to our podcast pages, and you can use these to syndicate the podcasts into your browser. For example, clicking the orange icon in the address bar in Firefox will allow you to add a podcast feed to your Bookmarks toolbar.
