Roots
We normally meet fortnightly on a Thursday evening, where there is a relaxed, informal and supportive atmosphere which provides an opportunity to develop and build relationships, so that those who come are comfortable to share their experiences, opinions and faith with others.
We give time to listen to issues that have arisen in one another’s home, work or social lives and share experience and encouragement as we learn from each other, praying together and discussing situations that concern us. We sometimes talk about subjects that have been raised in the message on a Sunday, so that people have a chance to ask questions or look into the subject in more depth. This means that the meetings vary from week to week as we adapt to meet the needs of the people within it.
Our social activities provide opportunities for family, friends and neighbours to get to know us, in the hope that in the future they may feel free to ask questions about our faith.
