Our team of full time, part time, paid and unpaid people are brilliant! They love and serve people because of their personal relationship with Jesus; it inspires all that they do.
Living Waters has an efficient structure which enhances the ability of each part without massive overheads.
The links on the right will let you meet the people behind the titles but this is how it works:-
Living Waters has a Senior Leader.
The Senior Leader takes final responsibility for the strategic decisions of the Church.
Living Waters has Elders.
Elders support the Senior Leader by sharing responsibility for the strategic decisions of the Church.
The Elders have a counselling and caring role.
Living Waters has Trustees.
Living Waters is a Charity and is therefore required to appoint trustees. The trustees are responsible for the overall charity operations. They work within the strategic decisions of the Senior Leader and Elders.
The trustees have an operational role.
Living Waters has three Area Team Leaders.
Each Area Team Leader manages one of our three ‘Areas’.
- Church Life - An area to serve those who come to Living Waters. Managing all the teams needed to host what happens on Sundays and during the week.
- Social Action - An area to serve those around us. Managing teams that go out to those who live near us and those who live overseas.
- Operations - An area that co-ordinate and administer all this effort. Managing teams that enhance what the other areas are doing as well as completing the paperwork.
Each Area Team Leader has the support of an individual Elder and Trustee.
The Area Team Leader is a managerial role.
Living Waters has sixteen Team Leaders.
There are six teams in the Church Life area; five teams in the Social Action area and five teams in the Operations area. Team Leaders are managed by the appropriate Area Team Leader. Each team leader is responsible for what their team achieves.
The team leader is a working role.
