Youth Development Work – Central Asia
Living Waters supports a group of young people, whose aim is to educate, train and empower other young people and they do this in several ways:
They train them to start their own small businesses.
Help develop projects that can give employment.
They are also involved in projects to do with poverty reduction, education of youth about the HIV/AIDS problem and they help them mature, develop and avoid behaviour that would put their lives at risk.
Through youth clubs and summer camps they help a large number of young people develop skills, self-confidence and a purpose in life.
There is also a sponsorship scheme in operation enabling students to go through university and further education.
