Youth Development Work – Central Asia
Living Waters supports a group of young people, whose aim is to educate, train and empower other young people and they do this in several ways: they train them to start their own small businesses, help develop projects that can give employment, and they are also involved in projects to do with poverty reduction, and education of youth about the HIV/AIDS problem. This involves helping them mature and develop, and avoid behaviour that would put their lives at risk.
Through youth clubs and summer camps they help a large number of young people develop skills, self-confidence and a purpose in life.
