The government is due to announce plans to ban all forms of age discrimination, as part of a package of measures outlined in an Equalities Bill. Will the measures be workable?
Age discrimination in the workplace has been illegal since 2006, but the new legislation to be announced by Equalities Minister Harriet Harman will tackle more widespread forms of age-related prejudice.
Travel, health and motor insurance - where cover is withdrawn beyond a certain age or it is much more expensive - are expected to be included.
GOD HAS BETTER PLANS FOR YOU!!!
