Living Waters Blog Archive  >  Did you enjoy our Carol Service

It was a cold but dry evening and Clevedon School had been transformed into a magical winter wonderland.
An army of volunteers had spent the afternoon making the good look better and no detail was missed. It looked fantastic!

The Cadbury Wind Band tuned up and then the service started. Each Carol was introduced by a video clip from Clevedon or Bristol... just normal people giving a reason why that particular Carol was special to them. Two of our very talented young people gave Bible readings from both the old and new testament. It was a great reminder of the true reason for joy at Christmas.

Our senior leader Daniel Sibthorpe gave the address and showed how 'Jesus Light of the World' is still relevant today in the 21st Century.

Finally we all enjoyed hot mince pies, mulled wine, coffee, tea, short bread and other delicacies...
